Koorosh
Angali Recites Rumi
Volume 1 |
 |
|
In this album Koorosh Angali
recites a selection of Rumi’s poetry from his compilation
of odes to Shams of Tabriz.
This album is the first volume
of a series on Rumi's philosophical and mystical poetry.
The music for this album was
composed by Koorosh Angali, who also plays the keyboards
and background percussion.
Accompanying Koorosh is the enchanting
sound of the santoor (a Persian hammered instrument),
played by the Persian music virtuoso Alan Kushan.
